East Street Cider Co.
East Street Cider Co. is a small urban craft cidery located in beautiful Goderich, Ontario on the eastern shore of Lake Huron.

Using 100% Ontario apples, we’re focused on creating straightforward, real cider with refreshing, pure taste. Striking a balance between modern and heritage, innovation and tradition— our mission is to craft authentic, easy-drinking cider that everyone can enjoy.
THE CIDERY
Tradition + Innovation
Our building at 130 East Street, established in 1856 as the Runciman Foundry, was constructed using cut stone from the Maitland River. The building has stood the test of time and has housed an abundant group of manufacturers and entrepreneurial ventures over the last 160 years. Our ciders are a tribute to these people who have practiced their craft within these same walls since 1856.
Our vision is to create cider worthy of the heritage and fortitude of our historic building and the community within which it is located.

We're two people with a passion for cider. Making and sharing cider makes us happy.

Together we wear the many, many hats that make up East Street Cider Co.

After 18 long months of renovations, red tape cutting and character building, in July 2018 we produced our first batch of cider.
​
In September 2023, after another 24 months of renovations, designing and constructing the space ourselves, we took the next step in our journey opening up our taproom; a labour of love connecting us to our community and fellow craft beverage lovers.
