Comedy night in the taproom presented by East Street Cider Co. & Engage Goderich

We have two shows, an early and a later show. Early bird tickets are on sale now! Both shows run ~75 minutes.

Doors open at 6pm for early show and 8:45pm for the later show.

Seating is first come, first served with table seats available for a small donation to charity (charity tbd).

Headliner: Adam Christie

Adam Christie is an award-winning television writer and stand-up comedian. Adam won a Canadian Screen Award for his work on the critically acclaimed show Baroness Von Sketch Show on CBC and IFC, and he is the former head writer of This Hour Has 22 Minutes. As an actor, Adam has appeared on Schitt’s Creek, What We Do in the Shadows, and The Expanse.

Adam’s debut stand-up album ‘General Anxiety Disorder’ was nominated for a Juno Award for Comedy Album of the Year, and in 2019 he won the Sirius XM Top Comic competition at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Toronto.

Feature: George Rivard 

George Rivard was adopted from Sierra Leone by Canadian parents and was raised in the Yukon in a community of 30,000 people. Facing adversity as a young black child in a small community, comedy, and entertainment became his main calling. Whether it be breakdancing, music, acting, cooking, entertaining, or just making his friends laugh, George has been performing for 12 years, finding his stride within the last 5 years in Toronto. George has recently recorded with Just for Laughs originals, and Underground Comedy Railroad for Comedy Records. He is a regular comic at Comedy Bar, Corner Comedy Club, and Absolute Comedy Club. George is also no stranger to appearing in Indie music videos and sketch comedy projects. Relatable, outgoing, and unapologetically Canadian! Yukon REPRESENT!

Ben McKay is an up and coming stand up comedian based out of Toronto, Ontario! At only 24 years old he has already performed at the Just for Laughs Toronto Festival, Toronto Comedy Festival, Haymaker Comedy Festival, Rusty Nail Comedy Festival, and Guelph Comedy Festival! Ben made his international comedy debut in 2022 completing a 24 show run of his show ‘The Kids of Canada’ at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland.
